Center For Talent Reporting is Happy to Announce our 4th Conference in Dallas Texas, Feb 15-16 2017
The Center for Talent Reporting (CTR) is excited to host our fourth annual conference in Dallas February 15-16, 2017. If your interest is measurement, reporting, or management of learning and development (L&D) in particular or HR in general, this is the conference for you. We distinguish ourselves by bringing you industry thought leaders in an intimate setting where you have the opportunity and time to interact with them. Past participants have commented that this is the best conference they ever attended and if they could attend only one, this would be it. The conference begins Wednesday morning at 8.00 am and concludes Thursday at noon. We hope you will join us for what promises to be our best conference yet.

What Makes this Conference Unique
Unlike many other conferences, we focus specifically on measurement, reporting, and management. You will see these elements reflected in all sessions which means a more focused and productive use of your time. We invite only the top people in the field as speakers and panelists. There are no vendor presentations. Our relatively small size (100-150) better enables you to ask questions and interact with the speakers and other participants. For 2017, you’ll be able to meet with key speakers in a small group setting after their talk to get your specific questions answered. Our speakers are committed to our mission. Most are CTR Board or Advisory members and they will stay for the entire conference.
Who Should Attend
Program managers, measurement and evaluation specialists, analysts, and department heads from L&D and HR who have an interest in the measurement, reporting, and management of human capital will benefit most from this conference. If you are interested in implementing Talent Development Reporting principles (TDRp), you will have an opportunity to learn the basics and learn from those who have already implemented the process. The conference will benefit both newcomers to TDRp as well as experienced practitioners with sessions appropriate to both. Last, if you just want to improve your business acumen and become a more strategic business partner in your organization, this conference is for you. (Note: This conference really does focus on measurement, reporting and management so no sessions on instructional design, mobile or LMS.)
Why You Should Attend
Join us if you want to be on the cutting edge of measurement, reporting, and management in our field. With multiple tracks you can quickly get an excellent introduction to these topics, or if you already are knowledgeable, get to the next level. Learn what questions you should be asking to have greater impact and what your department needs to do next. Gain valuable insights from others who have already implemented TDRp or other successful measurement and reporting approaches, including tips on managing the change and securing sponsorship.
Difference Between Conference and Workshop
We are often asked how the conference differs from the two-day TDRp Basics workshop. The conference is designed to cover a number of topics including TDRp, business and financial acumen, industry trends, other measurement topics, and current topics of interest at a relatively high level. In contrast, the workshop is designed as two-day deep dive into just one topic, TDRp, where the components of TDRp will be examined in great detail with the help of case studies. The conference will expose the participant to a number of speakers in both keynotes and breakout sessions while the workshop will be facilitated by Dave Vance and Peggy Parskey. Many more will attend the conference (100-150) than the workshop (15-20). So, if you want a broader, higher-level experience which exposes you to numerous topics and speakers, come to the conference. If you want a deep dive into TDRp and you would like to leave with a draft list of measures and reports for your own organization, come to the workshop. If you cannot decide between the two, come for both! We usually have about 20 participants who attend the workshop and stay for the conference, and we provide a $300 discount to make it an even better value for you.
